Offering a variety of services for the entire campus of Indiana Wesleyan University, the Writing Center is available to meet the needs of the student body, the teaching faculty, and university staff members. Tutors and lab assistants in the Writing Center are qualified writers who are screened by their professors and then trained to assist others in the writing process. In the Writing Center, workers assist students in writing and provide tutoring for those who request a writing consultation. These are free services, available to any student whenever the Center is open.

The Writing Center's two computer labs offer Microsoft Word programs, scanners, printers, Internet access, and e-mail capabilities, as well as reading and writing programs for computer-assisted instruction.

Writing Center Hours*: Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday: 12 noon to 5 pm.

*These are the Writing Center's normal hours while school is in session. At these times, 40 computers are available for student use, and computer labs 218 and 223 are available for individual class use.
