Bring Along A Good Book
Surveys of first-time freshmen indicate that the number one
reason for choosing IWU is the spiritual atmosphere. At Indiana
Wesleyan University, you'll discover many opportunities to strengthen
and affirm your faith. As a freshman, you'll participate in
a "World Changers" class in which the fundamentals
of the Christian faith are outlined from an evangelical perspective.
You'll be encouraged to explore and discuss your Christian beliefs
and how they can be applied to your daily life.
Each semester begins with Summit Week, a series of daily services
devoted to spiritual renewal, during which many students commit
or recommit their lives to Christ. Chapel services are conducted
three times a week in the Phillippe
Performing Arts Center and provide the foundation for the
spiritual atmosphere on the Indiana Wesleyan University campus
among students, faculty and administrators. You'll find opportunities
for organized prayer sessions, Bible studies and theological
discussions. A small Gothic-style prayer chapel designed for groups of 20 or fewer will provide you with an intimate sanctuary for prayer and reflection. |
