Faculty
The success of every institution of higher learning is dependent upon the effectiveness of its faculty. As noted in the division history, Dr. Allen Bowman, who chaired the Division of Social Sciences from its inception in 1948 until 1970 and taught history and political science from 1931 to 1983, established an extraordinary tradition of Christian service, teaching excellence and exemplary scholarship.
This tradition continued to govern the Division of Social Sciences for the next 30 years under the leadership of Dr. Glenn Martin. As we look to the future, we are constantly reminded of the strong heritage that guides this division.
Please take a moment to explore the biographies of our division faculty members. In addition to their teaching credentials, each adds unique talents and contributions to the list of faculty strengths. They are well known for their efforts to give personal attention to their students. |
