Welcome to the Division of Religion & Philosophy
We would love to have you enroll in one of the majors of the Religion division. IWU is a wonderful place to train for future church ministries, youth work, missions, seminary, or para-church ministries. We have several majors tailored just for you , several of which are specifically designed to "double major" in, combining two of your interests into a customized program. We specialize in practical training with solid theoretical foundations. You'll love the other students in these majors and have great opportunities to work in small groups and on service projects. Our faculty is outstanding - they are not just some of the best teachers in this school - they are some of the best teachers you'll ever have! There are over 400 students in 11 different majors, and we have 17 full-time faculty members led by Dr. David Smith, the Division Chair.
