We, at Central Wesleyan in Elwood, are looking for a young man, a young woman, or a couple who are looking to be actively involved in the life of a church, and who will offer their skills and energy to help build up Elwood Central Wesleyan.

We are a congregation of about 50 people with facilities, and contacts, so that we could easily run 100 or more.  The challenges include jumpstarting the Sunday school, by outreach to children and to their parents. The youth group needs to be organized and energized with a core numbered of about 4 or 5 youth.  We believe that a big impact can be made on Central Wesleyan with a young man or young woman committed to reaching children and teens for Christ.  Any person with musical talent can esp. offer more help at CWC.

Qualification –anticipate to complete, or presently working on, or have completed a bachelor’s degree with a major in youth ministry or Christian education

Duties: Minimum of 4-5 hours of work/week

Lead a Sunday evening youth program with teaching time, fellowship (ages 12-17).  You must recruit and train lay people from the congregation to assist you. A minimum of 3.5 hours is included for this (which includes prep and actual program time).

Once a month you could change your program from being a lesson time with a small devotional time and then a fun fellowship time (i.e., movie, skating, etc).  You do not have to always use the church facility to run your program.

Spend 1 hour a week, making personal calls or contact with teens

Monthly Stipend: starting at $150 (before taxes).

Andrews Wesleyan is looking for youth workers/interns for their Wednesday evening program with some leadership possibilities during Sunday morning worship.  Lots of adult support at youth group. Youth group open to ages elementary through high school. Hosted twelve concerts over the past few years. Free lunch/supper and gas stipend available.  Andrews is small farm town located about 25 minutes from campus on SR 24.

1. The Youth Group Leader will be in charge of either our Jr. High Youth Group Program (FLAGS) or our Senior High Youth Group Program (YUCK) or both.
2. Lead in a Sunday evening youth group meeting for either Jr. High (6th, 7th and 8th graders) or Sr. High (9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders) or both.
3. Develop a warm and inviting, relationship with our youth utilizing dynamic curriculum and activities.
4. Lead youth in at least 2 annual service projects.
5. Lead in an intensive retreat event with appropriate goals.
6. Lead the youth in participating in a Sunday morning service.
7. Build and maintain a spirit of community with youth.
8. Be available for counsel for the youth.
9. Meet with Christian Education on a monthly basis.
10. Participate in Quaker youth events; i.e. Quarterly Meeting, Yearly Meeting.
11. Maintain open and direct communication with the parents.
12. Possibly develop fundraising events to fund field trips.
13. The Youth Group Leader will need dependable transportation.
14. There will be a budget of $500 for any expenses for youth curriculum or projects. Expenses over $40 need preapproval of Christian Education.
15. The church will compensate $30.00 per meeting plus expenses.

We are looking for college volunteers willing to serve in a youth ministry setting. Paid Worship Pastor – Faith Baptist Church – Marion, IN

We are looking primarily for someone to lead a blended worship service on Sunday mornings. The preferred candidate would lead from guitar/keyboard and be able to lead a limited number of hymns but mostly choruses and contemporary worship songs (Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, David Crowder, Hillsong, etc.).  Sunday evening service is something we could discuss. There would also be the possibility to lead a worship team and/or choir and other small groups. Position open immediately and would definitely last through the school year and possibly could work into long  term and maybe full-time position in the future. Open Door Fellowship is a non-denominational church.  We are currently trying to build our youth program with the vision of “the youth are the church of TODAY!”  We have a fantastic location for outreach opportunities at the corner of State Road 18 and 13, ten miles west of Marion and across the road from Oak Hill high school.  We need a creative, motivated, and spirit-led young man or woman who is willing to help build a youth program.  The time commitment is for a minimum of two hours weekly, but will be closer to five to ten hours.  The position will be working with the current youth minister who is wide open to all ideas and teaches in the local high school with in-roads there too.  We are looking to begin a casual Saturday night service with contemporary, upbeat worship geared toward youth and young adults.  Musical ability is a mega plus!  We will make it worth your while, if you feel the Lord leading you to us. First Baptist Church in downtown Marion is searching for a worship leader (possibly a couple) to lead congregational singing. We are interested in implementing contemporary elements into our traditional style.   This individual should express passion in leading others to connect with the Holy Spirit. This individual will have the opportunity to be active in planning and visioning the worship program. This person could also be involved in creating the media for worship service.
