| Pastor – Kempton Methodist Episcopal – Kempton, IN |
11.9.09 |
|
| Kempton M.E. Church is a small church having its roots going back to the 1870’s. The town was a bustling little town, but has since lost most of its businesses. Many people still live in the town and are ripe for reaching for the church. We are an older congregation with a passion for support of the community and reaching the lost. We are looking for someone who can teach a Sunday School class on Sunday morning, lead the worship service immediately following the Sunday School hour, and teach a bible study in the early evening on Sunday. A well-kept two story parsonage is available if it suits the need of the student. Our former pastor had a stroke in May and he is unable to perform the duties that he did so well for ten years with us. We would use either married or single, male or female. If an interested student had more time to devote to the congregation, then we would certainly be appreciative and discuss finances accordingly. |

We, at Central Wesleyan in Elwood, are looking for a young man, a young woman, or a couple who are looking to be actively involved in the life of a church, and who will offer their skills and energy to help build up Elwood Central Wesleyan.
We are a congregation of about 50 people with facilities, and contacts, so that we could easily run 100 or more. The challenges include jumpstarting the Sunday school, by outreach to children and to their parents. The youth group needs to be organized and energized with a core numbered of about 4 or 5 youth. Any person with musical talent can esp. offer more help at CWC.

Youth Pastor Intern - Family Life Center of Coldwater Wesleyan Church – Coldwater, MI |
9.2.09 |
| |
We are looking for a ministry-called intern to serve functionally as the Pastor of Youth for the school year beginning ASAP. Our current leader may not be available due to work shifts, but will help as able, as will another adult supervisor. We currently have had some family shifts and we cannot be sure what youth will be available from the congregation, of about 50 plus adherents, but want to do some “kick-off” promotional events with the new leader to meet the community youth.
A part-time combo position is ideal if the candidate is a capable worship leader also. This is not required, but it makes the candidate more desirable, but our main concern is having a qualified youth pastor intern. We can change our standard Wednesday night to the weekend, perhaps early Sunday evening, but will wait for input from selected intern, if available soon enough. We can house the intern Youth Pastor one or two nights on weekends, or when needed.
The $200 per month is an honorarium to help with travel and incidentals, but might be put on the books as part-time worker. We may consider the proper candidate to continue beyond the intern period, if conditions prove to be mutually favorable. |
