Youth Pastor Intern - Family Life Center of Coldwater Wesleyan Church – Coldwater, MI |
9.2.09 |
| |
We are looking for a ministry-called intern to serve functionally as the Pastor of Youth for the school year beginning ASAP. Our current leader may not be available due to work shifts, but will help as able, as will another adult supervisor. We currently have had some family shifts and we cannot be sure what youth will be available from the congregation, of about 50 plus adherents, but want to do some “kick-off” promotional events with the new leader to meet the community youth.
A part-time combo position is ideal if the candidate is a capable worship leader also. This is not required, but it makes the candidate more desirable, but our main concern is having a qualified youth pastor intern. We can change our standard Wednesday night to the weekend, perhaps early Sunday evening, but will wait for input from selected intern, if available soon enough. We can house the intern Youth Pastor one or two nights on weekends, or when needed.
The $200 per month is an honorarium to help with travel and incidentals, but might be put on the books as part-time worker. We may consider the proper candidate to continue beyond the intern period, if conditions prove to be mutually favorable.

| Year-long Ministry Interns – College Wesleyan Church – Marion, IN |
4.13.09 |
| |
|
Review of nominations and applications for our 2009-2010 CWC paid interns has begun and will continue until we find God’s best for these ministry roles. The first round deadline for consideration is June 1st 2009. Starting date for internships are negotiable but June 2009 and September of 2009 are most likely launch dates. Potential candidates should send a letter of interest, resume, and a completed informational application to: David.Drury@collegewes.com
Position Summary:
College Wesleyan Church is seeking to hire current college students who are interested in developing as an individual within a specific area of the church. These paid internships are for one year total and would include a paid stipend as an employee of the Church. These individuals should believe they are called to ministry within the local church and would like to gain more intensive insight as to what that actually entails. While not limited to ministerial students those in the program must desire to work in the local church in the future; whether it be administratively, technically, within worship arts or a specific ministry program or venue of the church. This person would have the opportunity to see a wider view of what our local church is doing to further the kingdom of God by attending staff meetings, interacting on a consistent basis with the leadership within their specified area, participating in a hands on way within that specific ministry area and would have a mentoring relationship with a supervisor with that specific ministry area. This person should passionately love the Lord and be energetic, confident and self-motivated. The internship students would attend CWC for the entire year of internship as well as abide by the standards of the theology of the Wesleyan church. Overall this candidate would be a person who desires to grow in their practical ministry experience within the local church to further the kingdom of God. Specific job responsibilities will be based on the placement of the interns within the church and their own skill & gift set as well as experiences. Internship positions at CWC are adjusted to the person and the areas they need to develop in or gain experience.
