Keith Springer
Dr. Springer has been on staff since 1990.
He has 17 years of full-time experience as a pastor (including fourteen years as a minister of Christian education and three years as a senior pastor). He served for four years as a professor of Bible and Christian education at Bartlesville Wesleyan College (where he also served as college chaplain for three years) and has been a professor at Indiana Wesleyan since 1990.
He received an A.A. from Bartlesville Wesleyan College in 1966, a B.A. from Southern Nazarene University in 1968, and an M.Div. from Nazarene Theological Seminary in 1972. Professor Springer completed 30 hours toward a Master of Education degree at Grand Valley State University in Michigan. In 2002, he received the Doctor of Ministry degree from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in Chicago.
At Indiana Wesleyan, he teaches courses in Christian education and Bible and supervises the practicum program for Christian eucation students and children's ministry students.
Dr. Springer is married and has two daughters. With his wife, Gen, he is involved in many local church ministries. His daughter, Michelle, has served as a counselor at Taylor University and his daughter, Janae, is a Christian Education student at Asbury Theological Seminary.
Dr. Springer has spoken at many local leadership training events and at camps and conferences for children and youth. He has been actively involved with parachurch organizations such as Youth for Christ, Child Evangelism Fellowship and Olive Branch Mission and has served churches in Kansas City, Mo.; Marion, Ind.; Wheaton, Ill.; and Spring Lake, Mich. He is a member of the National Association of Professors of Christian Education.
