Jolly Beyikou Jolly Beyioku, Ph.D.

Dr. Jolly A. Beyioku (Dr. Jolly) is an Associate Professor of international and community development at the Indiana Wesleyan University.

He was the founder and President/CEO of the Alliance of Church-Based Community Developers (ACCD), an organization that promotes and practices effective Church-based community development through capacity building, resource development, and the fostering of partnership and collaboration among churches and community-based organizations.

Prior to ACCD, Dr. Jolly worked for thirteen years at World Vision (WV) where he directed several programs including church-based community leadership and organizational development, housing and economic development, employment initiative, and gifts-in-kind programs. Dr. Jolly also managed large and small program development grants and predevelopment loans for affordable housing that leveraged several millions of dollars and hundreds of housing units for low-income families.

Before joining WV, Dr. Jolly was the director of research and community development at the P. F. Bresee Foundation helping churches with strategies for community and economic development initiatives. He has taught at Bresee Institute for Urban Training, California State University Polytechnic, American Business Institute, and Barcley College. He has been a keynote speaker, and conducted workshops and seminars at several national and international conferences.

Dr. Jolly is an ordained elder and has served as pastor and on various committees in the Church of the Nazarene. He serves on the Boards and advisory councils of several public and private organizations.

He holds bachelor's degrees in economics (BA) and urban-regional analysis and planning (BS) along with a master’s of urban planning (MUP) and earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the University of Southern California Los Angeles.

Dr. Jolly is married and blessed with four wonderful children.
