Why chemistry?
I fell in love with Chemistry when I was in High School. It was the only subject that truly interested and challenged me at the same time. Realizing that High School chemistry only covered a mere fraction of the topics in the field, I decided to declare chemistry as my major in college.

Which class do you teach?
Introduction to Organic and Biochemistry

How does your faith affect what you do?
Every teacher wants to connect with their students outside of the classroom. Teaching at Indiana Wesleyan University gives me this opportunity to connect and encourage them academically and spiritually.

What is your goal for your students?
Since 90% of the students who take my class are pre-nursing, I want them to leave my classroom understanding the important role that chmistry plays in our lives, and more specifically, in the medical field.

What do you enjoy about IWU?
Getting the opportunity to come to an academic environment everyday where I get the chance to grow and fellowship with other Christian faculty, staff, and students.

How long have you taught at IWU?
Since 2005.

What is your favorite course to teach?
Introduction to Organic and Biochemistry!
