Prof. Cupp joined the faculty at Indiana Wesleyan in 1997. His area of specialty includes computer programming languages and software engineering. At Indiana Wesleyan, Prof. Cupp teaches both freshman and upperclass computing courses for all computer majors.

Before coming to IWU, Prof. Cupp served as a career naval officer aboard ships in both the Atlantic and Pacific Fleets. Navy duty allowed his family the opportunity to reside in Florida, Rhode Island, Virginia, California, Hawaii and overseas in Japan and Canada. His last assignment in the Navy was to Foreign Duty as the American faculty member at Canada's military academy, the Royal Military College of Canada, in Kingston, Ontario. Following that he retired at the rank of Lieutenant Commander, before coming to Indiana Wesleyan University.

He loves living in a small town and working on a campus where Jesus Christ is Lord. With his wife Cindy he is busy raising three daughters and exploring the history and heritage of the area. They reside in Marion and attend St. James Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod), where the entire family is active in worship and congregational life.

Prof. Cupp invites you to stop by his Personal Web Page to hear more sea stories or learn what he's been thinking about recently.
