Dr, Stephen Conrad After completing his undergraduate degree in biology at Taylor University, Stephen Conrad went to work in the school system in the state of Florida. It only took a couple of years before he realized that although he was passionate about teaching. Subsequently, he enrolled in graduate school at Indiana State University and completed a master’s degree in science education and then a Ph.D. in ecology. In addition to teaching several animal and environmental biology courses, Dr. Conrad has an active research program which encompasses several environmental biology projects including: population studies of swamp rabbits in southern Indiana; speciation of fish in second order streams; and rut behavior in whitetail deer. Currently, Dr. Conrad resides in Marion, Ind., with his wife and three children.
