Dr. Kiteck left his Kentucky homeland to join the math faculty at IWU in 2008. Born and raised with four siblings in Somerset, Kentucky, Dr. Kiteck loved the Christian community of Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky (and is now ecstatic about being a part of a similar beautiful community at IWU), and grew deeper in his faith when he was part of a much smaller Christian community in graduate school at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. From May 2008 to August 2009 Dr. Kiteck finished his PhD, got married to the most lovely of women (pictured), moved to Indiana, had his first child, and bought his first house. Dr. Kiteck enjoys reading, running, singing, piano, guitar, trying new ethnic food, hanging out with his wife Karen and son Nathanael, visiting new places, evangelizing, and, of course, mathematics.
