AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

You should be prepared to perform two selections, in contrasting styles, from different historical eras if possible. These should display a variety of tempo and dynamics, as well as demonstrate your ability and range. Memorized performances are preferred. Vocal auditions should include one art song and one sacred song. Total performance time should not exceed fifteen minutes. No taped accompaniment is permitted; an accompanist will be provided if needed.

Copies of the music are to be provided; xeroxed copies will not be returned. Please dress appropriately - jeans are not considered appropriate

* If you live more than 300 miles from Marion, a taped audition may be submitted. If you are selected as a scholarship recipient based on a video taped entry, the award will be conditional pending a performance after arrival at Indiana Wesleyan University.
