Mary received her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology / Athletic Training from Indiana University in Bloomington. She went onto Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo where she earned her Master of Arts in Physical Education / Athletic Training. She worked for nine years in a variety of athletic training settings, including orthopedics and sports medicine centers, outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, industrial rehabilitation, and high school outreach. She came to Indiana Wesleyan University in the fall of 2004.
Mary is a certified athletic trainer through the NATA and is licensed to practice athletic training in the state of Indiana. She has earned her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. She is also a certified ASTYM (Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization) clinician. She has recently become a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner through the Kinesio Taping Association.
In her spare time, Mary enjoys working on home improvement projects, scrapbooking, vacationing, spending time with friends and family, and spoiling her niece and nephew.
