People involved in education are special people called to a special task. With the growing school-age population, the demand will be even greater to fill the need created in the classroom. The need is real, and the demand for excellence is crucial.
Indiana Wesleyan University is a community of scholars whose mission is to create a Christ-centered educational climate where students are equipped for lifelong learning and service. The Teacher Education Program’s primary mission and purpose is to prepare teachers for the elementary, middle, junior high and senior high levels of public and private schools. Within the framework of a Christian system of values, the department stresses excellence in classroom performance and the integration of faith and learning.
