Kent Williams, CPA, Assistant Professor of Accounting
General Information
Kent served for a number of years in various corporate accounting, tax and project management positions. He teaches courses in accounting, tax, and business ethics. Kent grew up in Carmel, Indiana and now lives in Cass County with his wife Barb and their son Caleb. He raises cattle and sheep as a family business and is also active in his church. Kent has taught at IWU since 1994. Kent has an undergraduate degree in accounting, he acquired his CPA license, and an MBA in Entreprenuership and Corporate Innovation.
Professional Involvement
Kent is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants. He also assists non-profit organizations with tax issues.
Accomplishments and Interests
He serves on the board of the Harvest Teen Rally, a series of rallies for teens held each fall for the purpose of reaching them with the Gospel of Christ and to help them to serve Him. He enjoys farming, fishing and hunting, but most of all, he enjoys spending time with his family.
