Biochemistry - B.S.
Purpose of the major
To provide a rigorous background and training in biochemistry for the undergraduate who desires to pursue a career in academic or industrial life sciences research, the pharmaceutical industry, or the medical health professions.
General Education Competencies
The general education speech and intercultural requirements can be met by enrolling in COM 110 Speech Communications, and any intercultural activity approved by the general education committee. For biochemistry majors, a grade of “C” is required in all prerequisite and core courses. Only courses numbered 125 or higher will be counted toward the major.
