Dr. Burton J. WebbDr. Webb graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in the mid 80’s and completed a PhD in microbiology and immunology at the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1994. Currently he holds a dual appointment at IWU and the IU School of Medicine (Muncie Center for Medical Education) where he teaches Medical Immunology. At IWU Dr. Webb teaches a variety of courses including Microbiology, Immunology, Physiology and Forensic Science. Dr. Webb’s lab is interested in the recognition and cytolytic mechanisms utilized by Natural Killer (NK) cells when identify and lyse tumor cells. In addition to his teaching and research duties,
