Sports Management

Indiana Wesleyan University offers a major in sports management. This major provides the student with administrative and supervisory training in the area of sport. With the expanding interest in sports at all levels and the expanding economic impact of sport in our society, there is an expanding list of career opportunities for sport administrators.

The sport management major includes general administrative education as well as one or more specific areas of emphasis, such as sports information, communication, administration, marketing and promotions. Students are offered several opportunities to gain practical experience with sport organizations through practicums and internships.
